I am going to shop with my mother-in-law that day. It is my job to pick out things for my daughter since I know what she likes.

hmmmm...who knew?

I am not one to camp out and stampede people to get the deals.

I am planning on sleeping in that day. I need to catch up on the zzz's.

I will catch an afternoon nap

I will shop from my laptop

despite my remarks to ascottishc most of my shopping is finished.

Anymore the sales last more than just that day

I wasn't going to go but it was one of the only days it will work for my mil to go

my dad and i used to go out together and shop the whole day long ... do lunch and sometimes dinner ... buy my mom everything on her list

it was so much fun!

now, i have kids, not so much fun to "just shop" anymore

i think calling it "black Friday" has hyped it up quite a bit and the malls have gotten just scary busy

Done online on Thanksgiving itself for 6 years! GREAT deals that way, then about 1/2 the time I wander out in person. Don't mind the

crowds, its that everything is sold out because of ads, etc.
