While I rarely use Wikipedia as a primary source, sometimes it does have information. I use it as a start.

I tell my students that wikipedia is the 'gateway drug to research'. Everyone uses it. But it is never a primary, or even reliable, source.

I use Wikipedia as a memory jog. It's good for that. Doing so right now, actually!
