did a fast download of updates, prompted me to restart the launcher. It installed and then I got that error.. I googled it and it saw

a forum post where someone asked if that happens if the patching servers are down. I'm hoping one of you guys might try logging into the

game now and see if the same stuff happens to you

I just started the launcher and I went right to the login screen without a problem

But did you download a patch? When I first started, I got to the login screen no problem, entered login info. Instead of seeing my character

screens, I saw a sky background and some swords, and it said downloading update, it completed just fine, then it opened an installer and

downloaded 15.7 MB patch no problem.. it installed to 100% no issues, THEN I got the pop up that said it can't obtain patching info

I closed it out completely and went to start WoW and now I'm getting the error before I can even get to the Launcher where you click Play

before you even get back to the login screen. Did you go through this whole process already today or did you just quit just now at login?

The thing that concerns me is that I can't even open the WoW launcher right now, and I'm not sure it's even having time to try to c onnect

to the servers, or if the launcher itself is busted

Weird, maybe it was part of the Cata download since I did get the digital purchase. I'm worried though, cause at this point I can't even

launch the game.
