since it was totally out of the blue just reading the link lisa posted I knew I had lost the game and laughed out loud

i've been playing it since the 1990's....i won for many years, until the kids at my school started playing.

from what I understand, you say "I lost the game" then everyone around thinks about it so they have to say it... that's rather pointless imo

even if you win the game for the rest of your life you wouldn't even know it, so you could call it pointless for that alone.

And since it comes up in several and random places in the internet it's inevitable that you'll eventually lose, it's pointless for that too.

I see it as a way to have fun with a reference, to me it's much more like a meme than a game
