ninjas, pirates, zombies, the whole shebang
sure. action/adventure/platformy thing
generic, yet entertaining
also every second thing will be a reference
i'm leaning towards using C/SDL as a platform
but there are pros and cons with everything
i have nooooo idea what that is, but if i can flashimate, anything's good
but then it took time and effort
though this would be good motivation
steve can be co-programmer
I will also accept bomberman
i'll play around with some of the technologies i'm interested in, like sdl and that to see what i like and how to use them
a 2d platformer/beat-em-up type thing sounds good
but anything 2d should be relatively easy to do
especially if it's mostly sprite based
then you can be co-art guy
but with less copyright violation
nah man copyright violation is all the rage
i still reckon something about ninja's/pirates/zombies
sidescrolling platformer beat 'em up, with potential for multiplayer
and perhaps even minigames!
indie bomberman has already been done
unless we could put a spin on it
ClanBomber2 is a DirectFB port of Clanbomber 1.0.x, it adds network play but Windows support has beed dropped
also that doesnt work on my computer
a working version would be a nice spin
it's not their fault windows has no directfb
even the windows compatible version doesnt work
they could use a decent library
well i still think we're creative enough to make something more than a bomberman clone
there's like a billion anyway
one's bound to run on windows
except ridiculously difficult probably
would be harder than bomberman
probs easier than platformer / beat em up
i have never played geometry wars
Could not set graphics mode: Fullscreen - 1024X768
in my defence i only turned it on to send an email
the adventures of circular saw boy
circular saw boy must fight through hordes of zombies to reach the final boss
to save his hentai girlfriend/princess/whatever
oh I was just clarifying if you meant he had an incestuous relationship with her, or if she was just into incest
just wish my loop was working
if loops within for loops within for loops + guessing what i'm doing
we need a codename for the game
so i can make source code files
