Least your dinner is warm?

well, i hope there will be dinner. house filled with smoke. had to evacuate dog. my lungs are a bit sore. but yeah, we started it again

oh wow thats eventful.. my parents set the fireplace on fire last year.. that was fun!

think maybe it was his way of saying he shouldn't have to cook his own birthday dinner?

pfffft. i OFFERED to set it all up. perhaps next time he will listen?? son and i screamed at him when he opened flaming oven.

it was a bit alarming. but dog and cats are safe. son is safe. my lungs will recover. dinner is cooking again. life is never dull.

So what was burning?

the turkey. he put in WAY more liquid than usual, overflowed, started burning, set oven on fire.

i got the brownies, shortbread, challah rolls, wheat rolls and gingerbread done before all that. /me sips wine
