I am trying to log into SL and it says that my graphics card is not suported or is out of date. It is up to date and I think suppored. Help

what operating system, what exact graphic card, and what version of SL are you trying to run?

OS windows xp home graphics card is Nvidia geforce 6200 and an older version of SL. how do I find what version?

also trying it on my laptop vista and a nvidia geforce go 6150 same version of SL

no. and I have definately run the game on the desktop before I put in a better graphics card.
normally the version should be in the lower right corner of the SL login window if im not mistaken

and I am sure I ran it onthe laptop and I have not changed anything on it.

no just a little window that says the drivers are either out of date or unsuported. I click ok and it closes and nothing else happens

it should be on the LL website but geforce 6x series are supported as far as i know

its just your firewall complaining about open ports.. which could be a problem if they are blocked for the regular SL viewer!

on the 6000 series I only have a 6200. not the right one. guess I cant run it. crap

I tried to make it as big as I could but that is it. well I can make it a bit bigger but stil not big enough to read.

I rechecked to see if I needed to redownload the latest drivers but it is telling me no. I havae the latest drivers for my card

very frustrating
thats why i suggested reverting to the original drivers.. those shipped with your videocard.. but as you said it may mess up recent games

yea. I am still toying with that. Really dont want to downgrade my video card tho. I am reinstalling SL. maybe tht will help

it is not reverting the drivers. I changed video cards about 9 months ago. Went from a Radion to a nvidia geforce
that sucks =( i could explain a few things but this is going to get complicated fast
