more put off by only having one month's savings. Not that person specifically, but how Americans in general aren't saving anymore.

not in much better shape, but yet we are. I think we could get by for 6 months on savings if we really had to.

if salary doesn't match the mortgage then they're living in the wrong place regardless of avg house price, but lack of savings is prob too.
