answers his phone instantly.

grins "Hey Mattie~"

blinks at hearing her voice. "H-Hey Trini.'

-"You seem surprised to hear from me. I miss youuu~ Can I come over?"

nods before realizing she can't see it. "Yeah of course you can! I'm back home now, so come over."

exciiited >w< "Awesome. It's weird going to Uncle Francis' anyways. I'll catch the first flight over, okay?"

nods and smiles. "Okay, I'll pick you up from the airport."

still has her winter stuff from the last time she visited, thankfully. "Okay, I can't wait~ See you in awhile" >w<

chirps a "Bye, Love you~" and hangs up, running around trying to get scarves and jackets.

hangs up and freezes... his house was a mess.

doesn't mind mess. She's currently caught in a tug-of-war over her scarf with one of her dogs.

clean it up as best he can, it's kind of embarrassing.

a wreck herself, shoving clothes into a bag and looking for her passport. She should have asked him if she can stay for a few days...

sets about cleaning up the guest room first.

probably try to get into his bed. She arrives at the airport a few hours later.

spots him through all the people, and tackles him, hugging him tight and kissing his cheek "I miiiiiiissed youuu" T___T

almost spills the drink but saves it as he laughed a bit and kissed her back on the cheek. "I missed you too."

snuggles him "You're sure it's okay if I stay at your place for a bit?"

nods and smiles with that as he pats her on the back with his free hand. "Yeah, I'm feeling kind of lonely anyway."

frowns a little, taking the hot chocolate from him gratefully. "What's wrong?"

blinked at that and sighed softly, putting his hands in his pockets. "Nothing... I miss Francis I guess."

hums "Didn't you just come from his house recently or something?"

nods a bit. "Yes... but I'm living back at home now for a bit... boss's request and..."

tilts her head "And?" She links their arms together and heads for the exit.

walks with her as he took one of her bags and carried it for her. "We've not spoken for a while."

leads her to his car, it was silve and didn't stand out at all. "You don't have too."

heads for the trunk of his car, to put her luggage. "I want to though. I miss you"

helped her as he popped the trunk and got her bags in. "I miss you too."

helps him shut the trunk, and goes around to the passenger seat. "Which is why we should have a few days just to catch up"

smiles at that as he climbed into the driver seat, waiting for her to get in as he started the car. "I like the sound of that."

gets in, sipping at her hot chocolate and shivering a little. "Me too"

turns on the heat for her as he pulled out of the parking space. "Having lived with Francis... it's weird not having someone around now."

warms her hands by the vent "Hm..maybe this going back home is better for you then. Learn how to be just you again. Without him..."

looks over at her for a moment before gently rubbing the back of his head. "Ah... Well... I... I'm only back for a bit to help out my boss."

shrugs "I know. I'm just saying...Maybe it happened for a reason. Uncle Francis is great and all, but he can't always be around, right?"

nods a bit. "I know that and he is... though he hasn't spoken to me since."

blinks "He stopped talking to you because you had a job to do?"

shrugs a bit. "I don't know... he just hasn't called or come to visit or anything. It's... weird... When I'm mad at him he goes out of his

way to change that, but when I'm not mad... he doesn't seem to bother at all."

frowns a bit "Well that doesn't seem fair to you..at all."

shrugs at that. "I... I'll be fine." He smiled over at her with that. "I don't want to fight with him."

he's too passive. "It won't be a fight. You're telling him your concerns over your relationship"

looks over at her and frowns. "That would turn into one. I'll just... let it be."

sighs "Mattie...he loves you, right? That's why you guys got married?"

nods. "He keeps saying he does."

-"Then if he loves you, he would want to hear when something's bugging you, and what your concerns are"

nods again and focuses on the road. "Yeah but... He's probably busy so calling him wouldn't be good."

smiles over at her again. "I am though, so it's fine."

nods and turns back to the road. "Yeah."

gazes out the window, sipping at her hot chocolate. "If you say so..." Maybe she's get him to talk about it later...

looks over at her as he pulled into his drive way. "Maybe you should call him or something?"

hums "Maybe...I hear he's been having issues with Yao or something. I'll leave him a voicemail if anything"

nods and smiles with that before he turned the car off and got out, grabbing her things.

gets the rest of her things, looking around "Wow..there's so much snow, it's so pretty"

laughs a bit and nods as he carried her stuff into the house. "It is pretty, I missed it a lot."

follows along, the sight of the snow perking her mood "Uncle Francis doesn't really get as much, right?"

nods and smiles over at her. "Right."

got her stuff into the house, Kuma greeting him at the door.

waves to Kuma, kicking the snow off her shoes and making her way inside "But I'm faaamily~"

nods and smiles as he put her stuff down inside. "You're still a guest... I'm sorry if the place is a bit of a mess."

shrugs, trying to get Kuma into a hug "It's fine hun. Looks clean to me..."

watches the two for a moment before smiling. "I should invite Al up and we can all watch movies or something."

nods and goes to give Al a call then.
