they create what the masses will consume

what about flipping this around? what can you or I produce to be consumed? what if our students were producers?

students should be producers in school

trying to get them to think that way is difficult because they have years of indoctrination as consumer/regurgitator

but do they acknowledge how many people create what the masses consume versus those who truly create art?
