last night I went to pick up a package at the FedEx pickup location that is 1/4 mile from my house

and they said "oh, that's a *ground* pickup. You have to go to South San Francisco for that."

for those who don't know, South San Francisco is a different city from San Francisco. It's 5 minutes down the freeway

but the door tag was marked "final attempt" so that meant I would have to drive down there and find taht FedEx location

but when I called this morning to track my package, I found out that it's on a truck for delivery

I prefer them having a different definition of "final" if it means they deliver when I'm here than them requiring me to pick up out of town
