We are going to see how she does tomorrow after another full day of rest. I have tried what seems like every cough medicine there is.

If after tomorrow we are still not improving, I am taking her to the Dr. Monday.

good advice by cgarrety. All 6 of our family caught the flu this time.

I hope she feels better soon! And yes go to the doctor if she is not better. Having walking pneumonia is kicking my rump roast!

jennifertplc: How long after you started feeling sick did you go to the Dr?

I called my doctor the day I came down with a horrible cough. She prescribed steroids and thought that would do the trick.

I also took all the over the counter meds she told me to take like cough medicine, etc.

And finally after coughing for over a week and I just kept getting worse that I had to go into the ER.

I would call the doctor to get an appointment asap!
