just found out one of our work consultants just dropped dead with no warning whatever, apparently. maybe i should go get a checkup

yeah, it is scary... i wouldn't say i knew him well but moderately, i guess. two of my colleagues i do know well worked with him often.
he wasn't young, per se, but i don't think he was 60 yet
