I'm not sure of that, actually. Plurk still only has a few thousand users, and they're already starting to flicker a little.

true, but Twitter's user pool is actually flooding to Plurk at an alarming rate. it flickers but it holds pretty well for that usage.

...Plurk hasn't even broken 10,000 users. And the last estimate I saw for Twitter is in the high hundreds of thousands.
