I'm looking forward to L.A Noire.
I need to upgrade my computer soon. Except I am too interested in the pandaboard which will not enable me to game.
I've been playing Freelancer again lately.
The panda board looks like it would be a good platform for low power media PC.
Maybe a MAME machine or older console emulator.
If you make a M.A.M.E machine you have to build a cabinet for it.
If you do make a cabinet you must get hexagonal joy stick not the traditional round ones.
See if I can re-use some of these old LCD screens I got.
You need to make your van so full of technology that it will turn into motherfucking Voltron.
But a low power media pc would be a nice start.
Pandaboard can run Ubuntu which will fit my basic needs.
Unfortunately XP has no ARM support from the looks of it.
The greatest of human achievement start with the humblest of beginning.
You don't need to go too low-powered for a car computer; the alternator puts out a lot of electricity.
I also have plenty of room in the van for a larger computer if needed.
Low power tech is an interest of mine lately.
