the tale of two wellies.

a couple of months ago I broke my foot and have been very boot-centric (bit moon-boot style)

then a week or so ago it was POURING with rain and the one shoe I had been wearing constantly became as slippery as oil.

eventually I ended up in shoe repair shop, hearing about how you can't repair shoes when they're soggy.

then gazing about the shop when her eyes lit on the gumboot seen here (aka wellie).

that she was then able to spend the whole day at work in a gumboot and the rest of the day (carefully) one-leggedly jumping in puddles.

everyone should own a gumboot.
