Been applying at all these places, and no one has called back. Why would they? I mean, I haven't worked in a year and half because I was -

in school.

No one's calling back anywhere.

It's so frustrating.

And I can't even accomplish getting a job.

My stepmother isn't pleased, and tries to give me all these suggestions.

Like training to be a medical assistant.

I hate needles, and blood.

And she's acting like I'm just being difficult on purpose.

She's an awesome person, really, but sometimes she can be too judgmental when comparing her life to others.

It's super easy to get jobs where I'm from..

So my family back home doesn't understand why we're barely making it here.

It always really hurts me when my mother assumes we're just too lazy or we're spending money stupidly when I tell her we're having it rough.

Things are rough everywhere, like she said.

Not going to deny it.

I can't even score a part time job to supplement my own.

I had plans to move back to Omaha, my home town.

Get an apartment.

I needed to start off here with enough cash to manage a few months rent, so I was in the clear as I looked for a more permanent job when -

I moved there.

And now there is hardly any chance of that happening.

I'll have to room up with friends and look for a job.

It's just really rough everywhere.
