thanks, I needed that...and the SO needs it even more. This is the 1st time the kid has acted like this, ever.

got the kid, and he says that he didn't want to come because "he wanted a break from all the responsibility". Huh?

Exactly what responsibilities does he have? I'll save you from the drama, but here's a good one:

"I won't go. if you make me, I'll jump out of the car". Lucky for him I'm not his Momma. I'd beat his butt for being such a snip! (s_angry)
