wouldn't mind a visit. She had just finished knitting him a sweater in thanks for the chocolates and was trying to find a reason to give it
to him without looking stupid.
especially out of his element as he walks the path he took a couple nights before. He hesitates at her door, wondering if he should turn_
had been in the back yard with her sheep debating whether or not it was time to shear them when she saw someone approach the house. She
frowned and waited a minute before standing up and dusting off her hands before walking around to see who would be visiting her. "Hello?"
flinched, hand going to where his gun would be. He had left it at home, remembering all her questions about them. He figured they made her_
nervous or something. He felt especially bare without it. "Ah...It's you."
jumped back when he reached for a gun, though she was relieved when he didn't pull one out. "It is my house." She nodded and paused. "I have
something for you." She said, opening the front door that she rarely locked unless avoiding Denmark.
very confused when she mentioned having something for him. He took it as an invite to follow her in. "...You do?"
nodded and walked in to the kitchen to wash her hands. She was somewhat dirty from being outside and smelled a little bit of wet sheep.
used to this sort of smell. In a way, it was rather comforting. He calmed down a little, allowing his arms to fall down to his side. "For_
"The chocolates." She explained and walked in to the living room. Sitting over a small wooden chair was the folded wool sweater. She lifted
it up and held it out towards him. "I wasn't sure what size you were, so I guessed." She was usually pretty good about guessing.
goes a bit red at the sight of the sweater. W-What was this...? How embarrassing! But in a way, she reminded him of his sister. Perhaps_
that was why he came back to check on her. "Er...Thank you." He tells her quietly, taking the sweater. "It looks like it will fit."
wondered why he went red. It was just a sweater; everyone needed a warm sweater. "They're really warm in the wind, and hold up against rain
well… though I've been told they start to smell like a sheep when they're wet, but that's normal of any wool sweater, and I think Icelandic
sheep give off a nice smell." She was rambling awkwardly. She didn't usually give sweaters to complete strangers, especially not to their
folds it up carefully listening to her go on. Hearing her ramble made him realize he wasn't the only awkward one. It made him feel better._
"I don't mind the smell. I will make sure to wear it. It's very nice." It made him miss Liechtenstein though. "I brought you something_
too." He tells her, setting down a bag. It held some cheese and goat milk. It was the expensive cheese Chiara bought for him. He couldn't_
bring himself to eat it. So he thought that Thora would enjoy it.
stared at the bag before opening it up. "You didn't have to. Thank you." She was more excited about the milk than the cheese.
shakes his head. "It'll keep you healthy." His solution to everything was to drink lots of milk.
nodded. She enjoyed milk, and any dairy products. She put them away in to the fridge and stared at it for a few seconds before shutting it
and looking back at him. "Are you hungry or anything?" That was what you asked guests, right? You offered them food and things to drink?
a little surprised she is inviting him to stay. He was actually surprised she even made him something. "Ah...I am fine." He didn't want to_
didn't mind sharing with people if they were nice. (Unlike Denmark who simply stole food without asking.) "Are you thirsty? I just made some
coffee a little while ago."
nods slowly. That would be more acceptable. "Ja, that would be nice."
nodded and got out a couple of cups for them. She hoped the plain mugs didn't look too dull to him; she didn't usually entertain guests and
didn't have any 'fine china' or anything nice like that. "Do you want some cookies or bread with it?"
actually glad that it is not showy. He liked practical things. His own plates and mugs were simple too. "Ah...cookies would be nice."
set a small jar of cookies on to the table, and then held out the cup towards him. "Cream or sugar?" She usually drank her coffee black.
eyes them before looking up to her. "Cream and a spoonful of sugar."
nodded and pulled out a bottle of cream, setting it out for him, then pulling out the sugar. She would let him do it to avoid adding too

that is probably a good idea. He fixes up his coffee before taking a sip. He was slowly relaxing. "Danke."
"Danke?" She knew it was German, but she didn't remember much German.
pauses. "Ah...It means Thank you."
"Oh…" She flushed slightly. That should have been obvious. "You're welcome." She wasn't very good with languages that weren't Scandinavian
slipped up a little. He knew a few different languages, but Scandinavian ones were beyond him. "Sorry."
shook her head and sat down at the table. "It's fine. I should know more languages, but I live so far away it's easy to forget." She
doesn't see anything wrong with that. "You know what you use, only natural." He takes another sip of his coffee.
nodded silently; He was surprisingly understanding. She pulled the lid off of the cookie jar and pulled one out and dipped it in her coffee.
nibbled lightly on the cookie. "Do you spend much time with Mitzi?" He asked quietly. He was thinking that's why she was on his property.
shook her head, not wanting to sound insulting lest he have a gun hiding somewhere. "I don't know her well… but… she's been spending a lot
of time with my brother." She tried to keep her tone from sounding too clipped or bitter.
seems a bit surprised. "Norway?"
notices his surprised expression and nods. "Ja. I was surprised." And disappointed, and a little bit hurt.

he can understand why she would. "Ah...Any reason why?"
sipped her coffee and shook her head. She had no idea why anyone would like her; even if Basch was tolerable she highly doubted Mitzi was.
silent for a moment. "You don't like her?"
stared at her coffee cup for a minute, afraid of admitting the truth. If they got along very well it could spell death for her. "No, not
particularly." She was frightened of her, and jealous that she was stealing her brother away.
silent for a moment, thinking that they got along well enough. But he supposed from what she described, it was natural she felt threatened?_
"I see. She is stubborn...Not that I am any less.
nodded. "When you've been alive as long as we have I think it's natural to be stubborn." She didn't mind Mitzi's stubbornness, it was her
existence that she didn't like.
isn't sure how he feels about that. Mitzi and him were the same people, just...different circumstances. "I guess that is true."
nods. She doesn't think they're like the same person; He was nice, and tolerable… Mitzi was an evil brother stealing witch. If she hurt her
brother she would kill the woman; she didn't care what the other nations thought.
doesn't think Mitzi will hurt him. He thinks Thora is letting her emotions get the better of her. But he would feel the same if anyone _
had a habit of doing that… but this was her brother! No one was good enough for him! And what if he fell so in love with Mitzi that he
forgot about her?? She relied on Norway more than she liked to admit, and didn't want to lose him.
speaks up again finally. "If your brother is anything like how I am with Liechtenstein...I think you don't have to worry." He felt awkward,_
but he could tell she was young and worried. "You're special to him I am sure."
nodded, but continued to frowned as she sipped her coffee. It hardly comforted her. "I still don't like it."
nods slowly. "I have someone I don't like at all too. So I understand how frustrating it is." He was mostly lying. Austria was someone_
he both couldn't stand and someone he couldn't forget.
nodded; she supposed they all had other nations that they didn't get along with. She supposed she didn't *really* mind Mitzi, she just
didn't like someone else taking her brother away. She already felt like she'd lost everyone else close to her.
finishes up his coffee and stands, he moves over to pat her on the head. "Danke-- Thank you for the coffee." He tells her, "You can come if_
blinks a few times at the pat and tries not to look too confused. "Th- Danke." She nodded slowly. "And you're welcome…"
pulls his hand back and pauses. "I...could use more company if you're willing to come." He figured she would need to hear that.
stared at him. He wanted her company? Someone actually wanted to *willingly* spend time around her. She gave him a small smile and nodded._
"That would be nice… You're welcome to visit here, too."
seems a bit surprised by the smile. He hadn't seen one on her before. It caused him to breathe out a small sigh and crack a small one of_
his own. "Ja, I will come more often. I will make sure to have lot's of milk waiting for you."
grinned and shook her head. "You don't have to." Though she would appreciate it. His milk was good!
nods a bit. "Just make sure not to get sick."
"I'll try not to." She frowned. Though she had a tendency to get sick a lot, but it had little to do with what she ate.
carry her to his house if it came to that. She needed someone to look after her when she got sick. "Good."
would protest loudly to that. She could take care of herself. "Be careful… with your guns." She didn't understand why anyone liked them.
blinks at that before nodding. "I will."
gathers his stuff. "If you need anything, just call and I will come." He leaves her his number.
stared at his number; she didn't like having to call people, but it was nice. "Danke." She would remember at least this word!

it would have been fine in English...but it was a little cute. So he wouldn't say it. "See you soon then."
stood up to see him to the door. "Okay… Thank you for visiting."
nods to her, making sure to carry the sweater carefully. "Yeah...You are welcome."
that he actually liked the sweater. "Sjáumst." She said politely. "Have a safe walk home."
nods to her. "Be safe here too. Lock your door."
nodded. She didn't usually bother locking it, but there was no reason to tell him that.
takes his leave and heads back home in a decent mood.
locked the door after he left and went to clean the dishes. It had been nice to have a visitor, and now she had tasty milk!!
