repeats herself: dish, woman!
it's just been tiring, looking for a new home, dealing with my eldest's drama, hanging with my best friend, and dealing with the phone--
had those kinds of weekends - whew!!!
if you have any houses that really stood out to you, now that you've had time to let them simmer & steep in your imagination?
Kailee was convinced she was moving to a neighborhood that I was convinced she wasn't, so we were having our usual butting of the heads.
continues yes, one house I liked because of the office in the front. And a very cute TINY back yard. But then she sent this:

what part turned you off?
if you mean about Kailee's move? The part where I drove up and saw the gang bangers across the street drinking. And then the two...
who were dragging their buddy down the street.
the break down on the house you like.
the house I liked had an office at the front, three more bedrooms, a garage and beautiful landscaping. The livingroom and kitchen
are smaller, and the backyard is adorable. The patio isn't square, it's...curvy.
the one I linked above I haven't seen yet, but it also has a front office and more room.
curves over straight lines, it's true.
confused b/c he was looking for problems with the house link & didn't find any.
OH! No-- I thought I knew what I liked, then she snuck this link to me this afternoon and now I want to go look more.
that's funny. But hey, it's WAY better to have too many good options than too few!
surprised lazyD wants to settle down with a new house.
suprised too. I realized on the drive down that I'm so stubborn I don't want a landlord having ANYTHING over me.
can understand this thinking.

it has something to do with giving a stranger the title 'lord' over me. Hmrph.
so you'd be okay if s/he was called a "property manager"??
hadn't thought about that...but then again, am I the property being managed???
suspected as much - it's the authority, not the title, that rankles you.
that's why I prefer to own rather than rent too …
that land"lords" have been known to give me *massive* anxiety attacks. No kidding.
glad I'm not just weird. Or at least weird alone.
renting. If something big breaks, somebody else pays.
there is that. Especially if you're not going to stay for a long time - and who stays in one place anymore?
there another song, isn't it?
its the power thang. D and Kiwi don't like feeling powerless. I don't either. That give me anxiety attacks, real bad.
issues with being told what to do, too.
