if you follow the directions, it's really hard to brick- just make sure everything is exactly what it should be

of course there is always a chance, but the homebrew scene is really good about letting you know if the odds are that high for bricking

I found this forum with very detailed instructions; it seems the only ones who're having problems (sometimes) are the PSP Go owners
