yeah, the time change is pretty much kicking my ass. By the time I got off last night, picked up a
Birthday card for my dad, washed my face, and got into bed it was already 2:47
yikes!! I'm avoiding vacuuming (and bathrooms, and… ) by <sigh> grading.
adds and plurking *just a little bit*
noticed the plurking part
so much work to do for her MFA classes today.
if the MFA classes are fun, though?

.
it's not really work … the grading, on the other hand
to quit her job and go to Denver University for her PhD in Creative Writing.
grading is too much of the work.
when Denver got the PhD in CW. U of Utah has one, too.
to check out the one in Boulder, Co.
we should put our heads together and come up with a really formulaic rubric for writing, one that can make essays eligible for scantron
knows it would bastardize the process, but we could copyright it and make bank!! Every school under NCLB would snap it up, b/c
it would lend itself so easily to "assessment" Huh? Huh?
bastardizing the process wouldn't break my heart.
figures it's already half-bastardized, so WTF?
Chels9: in Boulder there is CU or Naropa. CU's CW is half-assed, and Naropa doesn't give PhD. DU is the bestest.
there are 10 accepted each year and all are given a fellowship.
how serious you are about this?
Ah I was misinformed! Thanks for setting things straight Tibbits!
FB: not really; Chels: I researched this heavily.
to FB: I would go back if I could afford it.
remembers his PhD was "free" b/c I was a grad assistant & tuition was waived. My only expense was earning so little for several years.
notes this was a legitimate expense, but I didn't come out with six figures of debt!
how that pushing off is working for the LazyD,
on another thread we're speculating that she's lurking instead.
