My personal belief is that Bit-Torrents enable theft and are significant sources of malware, but having said that, I think manner in which

the property was handled is deplorable and the state should replace any/all damaged property with new items!

Justinian I was not commenting on the tech of Bit-Torrents, but the typical implementation of them as sources of Copyrighted materials.

even so, bittorent is not a source is just a exchange medium, usenet might be the source, the scene and so on

i am a fan of easily distributed content, and a copy left fan as well

the whole internet is made for file sharing.

The Internet is an unparalleled file sharing platform. It's what files are shared that becomes problematic.
