norton 360 goes apeshit every time i fire up second life.

norton and mcafee are horrible resource hogs. And they're not as good at picking up stuff as most free programs

Uninstalling Norton is not as easy as hitting the uninstall button. Check Norton's web site for detailed instructions or call Norton help.

the uninstall utility worked pretty well. i had a choice of uninstall completely or uninstall temporarily. i chose complete uninstall...

now i just need to remember to contact them to cancel my automatic billing.

the install of mse went smoothly as well. so far the only thing i don't like is i get a prompt before it deals with security threats.
