The big difference here between what is working in realXtend and what LL is planning is that the crab is rigged to it's own skeleton

and has it's own animation files. LL isn't planning that to my knowledge, only meshes rigged to the existing SL skeleton

I wish LL would consider it, imagine the virtual pet business with fully animated mesh pets
