yeah, it's against the facebook TOS to not use your real name.

all right, that makes more sense. explains why SL is spilling over to every social networking site but FB

and the direction SL's taking on connecting- to share on FB without linking to your avatar name.

(personally i think that policy on FB's part is idiotic, even though they have a "good" reason for it. but i would NEVER have a FB with my

real name.)

I'm usually sooo private about my real ID, but all my contacts are on FB so I'm too far down that road already

I *only* have a FB for my avatar, not my RL self. But I never use it.
