i know the feeling

i hate that feeling

I just went into a store and someone connected to the store and a couple of others were chatting, I said 'hey, and nothing, just ignored me.

so rude and unnecessary

oh thats just rude

it just makes me paranoid, I care entirely too much about what people think of me lol I wish I didn't.

I'm very embarrassing to be around in those situations because I always make a point of not being ignored by shop staff.

the trick is to make the situation unbearably uncomfortable for everyone else. It's so much fun.

I know this particular person connected to the store is usually very pleasant and sweet, so I dunno, probably me being an idiot about it.
