is not inviting him over ever.
thinks that's false advertising then.
likes food as well. And meeting new people..
doesn't think Denmark counts as a 'someone' by any means. More like 'uncultured drunken swine.'
won't visit him then. Ever.
will take that as a promise and celebrate! He would love for Yi Ling to visit for dinner, he likes meeting counterparts!
likes meeting counterparts as well! Especially Europeans. They're funny sometimes. He visits for dinner to try the food.
sets the potatoes, gravy, jam, and
kåldolmar on the table. His excitement at having a guest was masked_
behind a hard expression.
was polite enough to leave his shoes outside when he had come in, so he quietly sneaks in to look at the food. It looked...different.
appreciates him leaving his shoes outside; He doesn't like wearing shoes inside much since it made the floors dirty. He spun around to see_
his guest already there. "A- Ah… Hej?"
smiles a bit. "Umm...hello."
sticks his hand out cautiously. "I'm B'rw'ld… Sw'den." This boy was a nation, right?
stares at him for a moment, before becoming extremely nervous. He takes his hand and looks away. "I-I'm Yi Ling...Have you eaten already?"
shakes his head. "H'ngry?" He couldn't recall anyone with that name, but he didn't want to be intrusive by asking where he was from.
smiles a bit. "O-only a little...umm...."
nods. "S't…" He motioned towards the table and motioned towards the serving utensils. "Beef c'bage r'lls, p'tatoes, gr'vy, an' j'm."
sits at the table. He hesitates, then starts to serve himself. "Thank you. IT looks delicious."
waits for Yi Ling to finish serving before getting himself food. "Th'nks."
looks at him. "I'm...curious. Who are you, again? You're a nation, aren't you?"
eats a bit more. "Taiwan."
"Ah… Nice t' meet y'." He said as he started to eat silently, occasionally watching the other man. He wasn't very familiar with the Taiwan_
eats quietly as well, glancing up at him from time to time.
might accidentally stare him, wanting to make sure he liked it.
yelps. His stare is terrifying. "I-I-I Like the food!
nods with a nervous smile that came out looking like a grimace. "G'd."
eats another bite, mumbling, "Xiexie...."
looks at his own food and eats. He was relieved that the other liked his food; He was always nervous about foreigners liking his food.
is incredibly nervous now. The other guy was very scary...
thinks Yi Ling seemed very nice, and doesn't see how he was scary. He sipped his milk obliviously.
sips his own drink. He's soon finished, looking at his plate. There goes that distraction...
nods. "Yes. It was a good meal. So...umm....please tell me about yourself."
"Ah… hm… eh…" He frowned; talking about himself was difficult. "'m t'll…"
blinks, and stares. He was a bit difficult to understand.
was trying to talk clearly. "Wh't 'bout y'?"
thinks for a moment. "Ahh...I...like fashion..."
doesn't know much about fashion. "Ah… l'ke cl'thes?"
nods. "Yes, like clothes!"
"Ah…" He liked clothes, too. They kept him warm in the winter.
likes looking cool... "Umm...what do you like?"
thinks about it for a minute. "F'd… m's'c… w'rk…"
gathered up the dishes and set them in the sink. "Y' w'n't s'me c'ke?"
gets two dishes and serves up some of the still warm sticky chocolate cake. He put large scoops of whipped cream on top of them and carried_
looks at it. "Oh, it looks good..."
nods and sets it in front of him. "St'cky c'ke."
sits down and starts to eat his cake, the whipped cream had already started to melt over the top.
starts to eat as well. It was quite good!
agrees. It was one of his favorite things to eat.
finishes quickly. "Oh..."
"W'nt m're?" He would probably have a second piece if Yi Ling did.
gives a small smile as he grabs the plates and gets them both some more, this time giving slightly larger pieces.
smiles at that. It was so good...
was happy to share so much of the cake with someone else. Otherwise he probably would have eaten it all by himself and gotten a stomach_
ache. "'M gl'd y' l'ke it."
starts at eating his piece. "Mmm...it's very good!"
eats almost all of the cake, leaving a little on the plate. "Mm...so good.."
finished all of his. "Gl'd y' l'ked 't."
smiles to him, finally. "It's alright. It's very good. I should cook for you in return sometime."
smiles shyly in response and nods. "I'd l'ke th't."
looks a bit proud. "I can cook very well. I'll even get some plum wine."
gathers the dishes and starts to clean them. "Th'd s'nds n'ce."
nods. "Of course." He treats guests very well, after all.
finishes washing the dishes and sets them out to dry. He wondered what it was like in Taiwan; He'd never been there before.
would be willing to show him around. He was starting to be a bit comfortable with this guy. (Not that it was a stretch, considering North
Korea was his sibling). He waits for him to say something.
feels a bit tense still about being around a stranger, but he tries to make small talk. "Wh't's 't l'ke th're?"
replies, "In Taiwan? Oh, it's kind of nice, being on an island and all..."
nods awkwardly. "Ah." That was about the extent of his small talk.
thinks for a moment. "What do you normally do here?"
"Uh…" He froze, unsure of how to actually answer that question. He didn't want to make himself sound very boring, but he didn't want to seem
wild and untamed either. "W'rk, l'sten t' mus'c, go t' b'rs…" That seemed like a healthy mix.
nods. "Ahh, I see. That's sort of what I do. Do you visit your family?"
"Mm," He hummed, pausing. He hadn't visited his family much lately, and he usually avoided purposely visiting them… Though he didn't think_
that was appropriate to tell a stranger. "S'met'mes."
nods. "I see. I do, too."
"Y' h've a b'g f'mily?" He asked curiously, he was less familiar with the Asian nations than he would have liked. His boss was always_
telling him to be friendlier towards them.
nods. "Yes, sort of. We're all kind of related, in a way. China raised us all."
"Ah…" He said quietly with a nod. "H'w's Ch'na?"
shrugs. "Fine, I suppose. Well, Hong Kong is fine, and they're sort of connected, huh?"
