Twitter survived during WWDC 2008. That was probably the biggest test.

Twitter may have survived, but it lost my interest long ago. Unable to have conversation on it.

I've the same feeling. Only: plurk is a huge distraction during working hours

it only survived by turning off all it's features. Hardly a passed test if you ask me.

people who want to publish their infos without much distraction (conversation) do go back to twitter.
