if new graphics cards cost much

a notebook so i believe it's integrated in the motherboard. but right now anything costs too much.

tried cleaning the fans? On a notebook failing to run graphics intensive stuff that used to work is a classic sign of overheating

ya i did clean them. i guess i can try again. i'll be sad if i have to say goodbye!

aimee - i tried blowing air in the fans again. still no good. any other suggestions? sometimes SL viewer just garbles up and other things...

...run fine. other times it locks up my whole system and i have to cold boot. happens with The Sims 2 also. both are graphically demanding.

aww, hmm, I dunno it's been a while since I worked on PCs, on my Mac I have stuff which tells me what temperature the processor and

graphics chip are at so I can see when they're getting too hot.
