a notebook so i believe it's integrated in the motherboard. but right now anything costs too much.

tried cleaning the fans? On a notebook failing to run graphics intensive stuff that used to work is a classic sign of overheating

aimee - i tried blowing air in the fans again. still no good. any other suggestions? sometimes SL viewer just garbles up and other things...

...run fine. other times it locks up my whole system and i have to cold boot. happens with The Sims 2 also. both are graphically demanding.
