cries out in shock. "H-hey!" She stands up, frowning. "Please, may I have my book back?"

flips through the pages. "Huh? This? Oh, no, I've had this since forever ago!"

frowns and shakes her head. "N-no!"

flips though the pages. He can't read, of course, but he acts like he can. "Oooh, but, it is!"

stands up and insists firmly, "That book is /mine/."

stares at the weird shapes on the page. "Nope. If it was yours, then how do I have it?"

replies harshly, "You stole it from me!"

smiles innocently. "How?"

sputtered, "I-I don't know! You're magical!"

laughs at that. "oooh, how am I magical~?"

scowls, "I can tell. I am."

looks over her. "Mmm. What are you? Are you a kumiho? Because I don't like those, they're very mean."

huffs indignantly. "I'm a light elf," she explained, holding up her glowing hands exasperatedly.

stares at her hands. "Oh. As long as you're not a kumiho!"

frowns; she isn't quite sure what those are. "Sure."

twirls his mallet. "Oh, well, I don't know what a light elf is. But you look funny, glowing like that!"

pouts, stammering. "I-I don't look funny!"

nods. "Yup, you do!"

retorts sharply, "Well, you're short!"

pouts a bit. "I am not!"

nods triumphantly. "Tiny!" She straightens her back, standing at full form.

stares up at her. "I was the biggest jar! I am not tiny!"

narrows her eyes. "Aha! So you ARE magic!"

realizes he messed up, and waves his free hand around. "Okay, okay, I am!"

smirks. "I knew it!"

rubs his cheek. "You caught me!"

holds out her hand. "Give me my book, then?"

shakes his head. "I'm reading~" He's holding the book upside down.

raises an eyebrow. "Oh? Then who's the main character?"

decides to make something up. "Miss Chin-Sun." He'd met a girl with that name one time.

frowns, stifling a triumphant laugh. "No. It's James Bond."

frowns a bit. "Well...I don't know this silly language!"

holds out her hand. "Fork it over."

sighs and hands it back. "Okay, okay~!"
