why does it seem like so many "success stories" are high school or college dropouts? what does that say about our system?

She had a kid right before our senior year. She went on to be on of our Salutatorians in the class. She then went to Kansas State University

graduating in 4 years with an engineering degree. Got a job in Orlando and making 6-digits. She now husband worked while she went through

school. Then, he went to school down in Florida as she was working.

Neither one dropped out of anything. They now have a 7th grade daughter and 1 year old son.

it means we aren't making a big enough deal out of all the "success stories" of those who make it through the system. We need to celebrate
