yes, he's 7 3/4 and loves to wear socks--even to bed--so I made a pair last year that he wears nonstop. He's the only one to get socks...

you should teach him how to knit them - bonding activity and then he can have all the socks he wants!

I tried to teach him & his little brother to knit once...didn't quite take, but that was a year ago, I think. I might try again soon.
