This is an isomorphic algorithm: f(x) = x+1. Doesn't really make sense as a life-form, but I over look it since I love Tron: Legacy.

I don't know about easy. Some of the hardest problems I've done are of the form: prove blarg is isomorphic to blarg₂.
I just like saying bijection. f'(x)=x-1 is homeomorphic to f ∴ f is isomorphic to the original bijection (the inverse).
isomorphic algorithms are just an excuse to say bijection; like many other things.
