Funny how the idea of "karma" makes us less selective about "friending" on Plurk than perhaps other services. Maybe makes us more receptive

I've definitely friended more people here and enjoyed conversations that I otherwise might not have had (I've also unfriended some!

at first I had friended a few people that seemed to just send spammy type plurks but now I do check out profiles before I verify friends

karma does not affect my friending. the only thing is i am paranoid of inactivity. otherwise i act "normal", whatever that means

I thought I would have left this site already. I've seen clear value from both this and twitter, however.

I unfriend people who seem to be timeline spammers - we all say random things, but it's annoying when it's ALWAYS pointless...

I think "friend" is also a funny verb as well. It's befriend, but not really...

I agree with

I don't mind the random plurks because it gives a little insight into the personality & life of my new "friend"

having thought about it a bit... I think I am more selective here because of the volume and because I'm much more active here

I'm pretty open to friending both here and on Twitter...so long as it isn't an obvious spam account

And some of them, I'm pretty glad we've "friended" each other! The karma meter doesn't really seem to matter to me.
