most events she knows stop selling presale tickets (even day passes) on a certain date.

and many adult events don't do at-door ticket sales to minimize legal issues.

I don't remember the exact timeline of this post and the event, but it seemed silly at the time that she wouldn't be able to get a day pass.

relevant question... GKE isn't doing sales at the door, right? How are they verifying online that people are 19?

I assume they _will_ card at the door.

I also don't think having a CC means anything, cause anybody could have a bank account with an ATM card that acts like a CC.

but you still have to show a valid photo ID at the door to get in.

and no refunds will be issued if you're not of age.

also they will be making some exceptions (in advance, if requested in writing) for 18 year olds.
