that one day she will definitely have to go to Edinburgh!
I'd love to go to Edinburgh! Two fave writers of mine are Alexander McCall Smith and Ian Rankin. Do you read them?
I read Alexander McCall Smith, but for some reason, have never caught on to anything by Rankin, although I have tried
he's read both but loves Smith's Botswanan novels. Not so keen on his Edinburgh detective.
I couldn't get involved in the only attempt I made at the woman from Botswana, but to be perfectly honest, I am a lousy reader
Used to love reading and am going through a long period of no reading
me too! I read one book last year. Sad really.
love the Botswana ones but then I have cousins who lived there.
I'm not crazy about his Isabel lady but I love the serial he did - begins with 44 Scotland Street. Not a mystery really...
Rankin can get very dark but for some reason I like Rebus.
I sort of liked the only book with Isabel...
I have a pile of books that haven't been read
There are a couple more with Isabel now.
Oh I have piles and piles of books but I am behind too...
what all this has to do with zoos? But the african novels have animals on the cover.
exercise does cut into the available time
going to read 12 books this year. One a month!
Nothing! I guess we just sort of hijacked Peggy's thread!
more to do with Edinburgh than with zoos!

oops!
she won't commit to anything she knows she won't do!
it would paralyze me to say I was going to do that!
he should start book no 1. Tomorrow.
if he will
good plan!
like my diet!
if he can read and plurk?
and take one photo a day!
that
werewegian is just trying to make his own life impossible
he may have bitten off more than he can chew too!
she will just try to stick to exercise!
relax, werewegian!
you both stopped me from writing some explanation on my galette des rois!
pardonnez-moi! continuez, s'il vous plait! je suis tout les oreilles...uuuuhhh...
galette des rois sounds
very rich cake
delicieux! what flavor(s)?
it usually has lots of marzipan associated with pâte feuilletée! Just too much for me!
Claude, you've forgotten the tons of butter and sugar (and eggs?) added to the almond powder to make the frangipane (not exactly marzipan)
belated apologies to Pegatha for hijacking her thread...
she can't face galette des rois! Although she does have a sweet tooth...
She really doesn't care for the galette des rois Claude took a picture of. Too rich, too greasy, too sweet. She prefers couronne des rois!
she doesn't know about couronne des rois!
You should visit Toulouse, or Nice! The one I like best is from Limoux (Aude). But in general we eat them all over the Midi.
