Very cool. My uncle sent us all toonies and loonies when they first came out.

What is the loonie? I know just enough about this to know what very little I know. It is fascinating though!

The Loonie is a golden coin that is their dollar and has a loon on it:

Okay. Don't think I have one of those. Collecting and photographing these is fun but quite the challenge!

The one we have is much older (prior to olympics), but is still very cool.
