Bought a DDR333 512M RAM for my iBook G4. It works good when powered only by battery; once the power cord is plugged, the system freezes.
And the system won't go sleep if the new RAM is installed, the screen goes black then never wakes up. Gonna waste 30 bucks for it.
Yes I did, no luck. Now changed it back to the old 256M RAM,it's slow running Tiger, but now my gf can use it sync with her iTouch.

I exchanged the new RAM with one of my co-worker's 256M from her Dell and installed on the iBook it works well
