remind me again NEVER to read comments following serious or thought provoking articles unless I want to give myself a stomach ulcer

I keep forgetting news sites aren't plurk, so I scroll down to read what everyone's saying and get really pissed off haha!
Yeah I usually get pissed when I read the comments following articles so I try not to
But, if you get to the comments too late, usually it's a whole fight/debate between commenters by that point
one-liner back and forth debates are annoying at most, but lately I've seen some infuriatingly ignorant and hateful comments
followed by a ton of "likes" or "thumb ups"
