I like D23 and Celebrations

why? what makes them worth it and better than the others?

Well...I joined D23, I find the magazine well done and I like the articles. As for Celebration, Tim Foster and Lou Mongello....

...do a fine job of putting the magazine together and the articles are good.

I have issues with Ricky Brigante so I wouldn't even look at Attractions Magazine. I don't know anything about Laughing Place Magazine

i'd like to get Celebrations, hear it's a good one. I was getting Attractions for a while, I liked it, but had to drop due to not affording

it anymore. Had to drop almost all my magazine subscriptions for a while to save. I enjoyed it though, lots of good info and not just about

Disney but all around Orlando.

Still... I don't give a shit about the rest of Orlando enough to subscribe to a magazine about it.

I've had Celebrations since it began. I really like it.

I enjoy D23.

I gave up on celebrations after the first year, also I got board with attractions. D23 however I love getting that in the mail

it's nice because D23 and Celebrations usually come at about the same time....I love it.

tiggerray (and everyone) what kind of articles in D23 and Celebrations make it worth the significant cost?? are they lacking in any way??

I don't find either lacking...I personally love to suck up as much Disney info as possible, so I find them enjoyable.

D23 is a very polished magazine and Celebration is just fun. Lou Mongello and Tim Foster take a lot of time putting out a fun to read mag

I think D23 and Celebrations do a good job of complimenting each other...sometimes there's overlap.

Celebration will do a park and or a resort focus article which you're not likely to see in D23.

D23 is more broad...Disney Company Wide periodical, where Celebrations is mainly a park focused magazine

I'm a bit biased to Celebrations cause Tim bent over backwards to provide me with a couple back issues that got lost in the mail.

He sent them to me with no charge. it was really great. i like the photographs. i like that I know a lot of the people that write the

articles. i like that it's park focused. i'm not to terribly interested in other aspects of the Disney company so Celebrations is perfect

for me.

Oh yeah...the photography in Celebrations is beautiful

I like D23 becuse it has info from the whole company and is not focused on one area

also I found celebration to be too much like lou's podcast it's ok in a small dose but reading it was a bit much
