kind of obscure, i guess, and there is no ginger rogers, but the fake south america of hollywood is hilarious

the red headed sister from meet me in st. louis plays a south american princess named yolanda and astaire is a con man out for her bucks lol

what's funny is that I saw very few Astaire-Rogers films growing up

i had to write a paper once on the differences between fred astaire and gene kelly (music major... sheesh). really interesting though

both were total masters, but they had completely different centers of gravity. astaire makes it look effortless vs. kelly the athlete

I remember seeing a video comparing 2 side by side clips of Fred dancing the same routine that completely dispels rumors that he just made

up moves on the fly. But he makes everything look soooo effortless people didn't believe that every move wastefully choreographed!
