I'm actually quiet impressed that I've been as proactive as I have with the book - it's compitantly written and has pretty much
what you'd expect from Yatzee Crowshaw, although it rags a little heavy on WoW for me.
Dont get me wrong, I see nothing of any remote value in WoW, but the parody and ripping just seems a bit crass.
If you've ever read any Pratchett books, you'll detect an often used minor joke - the nod and a wink to games, spesifically role play games.
In Pratchett books you'll have that one joke used maybe once or twice per book, a running gag that gets a laugh her and there
But Crowshaw uses it as THE WHOLE DAMNED STORY.
Its competantly executed, if somewhat predictable and goshe, but this is balanced somewhat by Crowshaws habitual vulgarity
tradmark humour and prefered satire on games and peoples behaviour.
Its only been a day and I'm already 300+ pages in so it must be doing something right.
Read it and see for yourself.
