Often wonder, when I come across old photos in antique stores, what happened to the families.

Someone from our town for an old photo with our Mound City, KS in the corner. Very small town. They bought it & brought it home.

Turns out, it was an ancestor of mine. Pretty cool! I think photos back in those days just got misplaced or lost & then sold.

tgentry: I guess keeping up with photos in the "old days" might not have been a high priority compared to other things.

I love the "Full Circle" posts that reunite the photos with family members! It is very cool.
