And? When are you due?
3/11/12
Oh really!? YAY! You're only 6 weeks behind me. Congrats, darling!
Thanks! I am getting over the shock. I thought Shark Week was too funky...
So you really just found out! Cause that would make you just at 4 weeks.
CONGRATS! How awesome is this?!
It'll be good. K will be old enough to be a bit independent, but still will nap.
2 under 2 for awhile.... yikes!
You'll be fine & they'll be good playmates.
Here's wishing you a pregnancy of *nothing* - no morning sickness, no indigestion, *nothing* period.
Hehehehehe. I was a horrible prego last time. I am scared!
I'm not going to announce on FB for a little while still BTW
well you won't be working this time - you'll have the ability to R&R. Oh, I assumed that. Wouldn't say anything.
Yes, I am soo grateful that I am not working.!! That would be super tough!
2 under 2 is not bad at all!! plus you'll only have 4 months of that anyway!
if you've done your own baby food? I'm trying to convince Paul we should get a Beaba, but he thinks I'll never use it. that I won't cook.
Yes, I made our own, but I really didn't even do purees. I do baby led weaning.
Basically, I just give her spears of food and she figures it out. In her first week of solids, she had a piece of broccoli and a piece of
yellow squash. It has lots and lots of advantages. And one being that it allowed me to be totally lazy.
You were able to breastfeed - so that probably made a pretty big difference. At our most expensive, I was doing 5-6 cans of babyfood/day
Making your own is really simple and can be done just once a month or so...do it in bulk.
He'd eat 2 per meal (when he still ate) and that was all Earth's Best so NOT cheap.
Ouch. For us, kids have been relatively cheap.
I have done jarred foods when I couldn't think of anything else and before I was ready to fully give table food. I really liked Earth's Best
I cannot recommend BLW enough. I am annoying in my love for it.
George did, too. He was great on cans until 9 months when he refused all of them. Which was terrible, bc he had no teeth. And, when the
doctor started yelling at me for him going from 96% in weight to 18%.
They don't need teeth for the BLW method. My kid could gum things to death.
Well, at 9 months, they thin out anyhoo?!
If the kids cooperate things are great. G wouldn't eat anything but olives, ketchup, bread and pickles.
I know. I pretty much told her to suck it because he started walking then and THAT was why. I also switched doctors.
the new one. She *has* a kid about his age & gets it. The other one didn't have kids. He's still skinny. He was a fat baby. Whatever.
meh... Gotta love your pedi. When someone is giving advice on *your kid* you better like them or you may strangle them.
I liked her initially, but when I was being fussed at for G's lack of interest in food, it quickly soured. I will *never* force feed.
My MIL required plates be 100% cleaned. Paul *still* cannot figure out when he's full. If the plate has food & I seem him slowing down, I
literally take it away from him. WORST PARENTING EVER!! G has to *try* a few bites of everything, but I will never demand he eat more than
he requires to function. He'll eat when he's hungry. I told her that & she was so outrageous I switched doctors.
H, get those mesh feeder things. They are genius. You have to refill a lot, but worth it.
Oh, here's the post!! Congratulations!!!!
those mesh feeders also occupy the kiddos for like 15 minutes straight. awesome.
I did jar food with Aaron and pureed my own for Soph. Loved my food processor.
as for weight - sophia at 2 weighs as much as aaron did at 5 months old.
