[ff13] ARGH okay so like
I've been watching Evee play this game for about a month now.
And right now she's at the end fighting Orphan
and during this ENTIRE SCENE i feel like
when they were storyboarding it, they accidentally dropped some papers on the floor then said something like
"eh, we'll just leave that scene out"
SO CONFUSED adjfkl.
What part was confusing?

So dysley fuses with...orphan for some reason
and gives a long speech
and suddenly fang attacks vanille? i don't understand why
then that ENTIRE FIVE MINUTES afterward doesn't make any sense to me

between the endless "LET'S MAKE A MIRACLE" speeches and this ending

it almost looks like a blitzball dome
it's like... they're on the ark, they've had their entire worldview crushed to pieces, then somehow they pull it together, decide togo forth
......and then there's a timeskip of who knows how long, and they're all completely hopeless again

the entire time they're on pulse, everything suddenly becomes stilted and weird
and it's entirely possible to entirely miss a REALLY IMPORTANT CUTSCENE
because for some bizarre reason, they decided to make it optional....... 
I had to look at a wiki around the pulse section to just figure out what the hell orphan was
because they bring it up like a "OH, BY THE WAY" thing
I had to refer to the in-game story summary a lot
well they talk about orphan quite a bit
because there were a lot of scenes that were like "okay that was really pretty but what just happened and why?"
though the entire party suddenly picks up the idiot ball regarding it
guys, remember when they were talking about how *only ragnarok* can destroy orphan?
that's the first time the mention him though, right?
which for some reason isn't actually true, but they couldn't have known that

I do understand the whole ragnarok/orphan scenario, it just took a look at the wiki to get it the first time >>;

WELL. BEYOND CONTEMPLATING THE ENDGAME (which was awful) I'm trying to figure out whether or not I should even bother with the end. :|

umm... a few of the missions have cutscenes, but they're not... important?

well, what I'm saying is that no not really, once you finish the game, basically all it does is unlock the last section of the crystarium
and then you... backtrack to the weird dimension and go back to pulse xD
i think the ending actually probably had a lot of potential, it just missed out on like...explaining certain details
like i kind of get it now after reading the wiki
one hopes the sequel.... um.... does something
i'm looking forward to it
though it could be 40 hours of lightning rides odin around fun time and I'd be like
