I know, I asked that same question yesterday. They said it was to keep from getting certain people's plurks
Nope. When you click on mute, you no longer see the thread upon which you clicked it.
ahhh, yes that is what I meant
that is a great addition...so i can just mute all the plurks in my stream that i'm not involved in then?
but not the "plurker" entirely as i was afraid of?

even if i had thought of it a few days before they did it.
it actually worked though...it doesnt seem to
Did you see the writeup that dotlizard and I did for the suggestion?
i just muted a bunch of stuff and hit refresh and it's all still there....
so i'm not getting something ...what's it good for again?
It vastly cuts down in the clutter in your timeline.
If there is an entire thread about green widgets, and you only care about the red frammis, you can mute the grren widgets.
he understood..how come the ones i just muted are still there?
and do you mean red frammis and green widgets?
HELP!!!!
Sometimes the muted ones stay around for a couple of refreshes.
i meant to say "what is a red frammis and a green widget"? is that relevant?
so if i hit "refresh" like 4 times fast it should work? or maybe <shift>-refresh?
i just muted something and hit refresh 40 or so times and it didn't work
cant hear you your muted speak up
