Starting over would imply that you'd repeat some mistakes. Instead of starting over why not continue with experience and improve?

my alt has my same name and same friends list and everyone knows it's me..lol so I have Alt Fail...but it's sometimes fun to reinvent

I agree with caliah. It feels sometimes like I'm burdened with being me for the last 2.5 years, and for better or worse, the same people

around me. Absolutely, I would most likely make the same mistakes -- I realize these are my own personality issues coming to the surface. :/

But I want to find SL fun for me again, and that implies breaking with the routine I'm in and finding new ways to enrich myself.

I think about those people who do Friendslist cleanouts, and just cut everyone and start over from the ground up. They pick up the true

friends again, of course, but kind of cut their losses and start over with all their assets. Sorta like avatar bankruptcy.
