Do you have a swamp cooler or refrigerated air, griffonage?

tatteredpage: we have an old swamp cooler in our garage/shop (the house originally had both) and then

forced air in the rest of the house...

a fancy thing-a-ma-bob with filtering for allergies etc....

we moved the swamp cooler, because it's a nice thing to have if you're working in the shop area,

but it is awful for keeping the house in any sort of climate controlled condition...
