I personally get teary at everything
I get equally teary-eyed at extreme happiness and extreme sadness/loss
it seems the happiness makes me teary eyed more thats not to say that sadness doesnt do it too.
watching the cardnials ahpiness had me all teary eyed
that was a GOOD game
